If you’re looking for one of the best bakeries in Guam, I highly recommend Pop Bake Shop! This bakery has been around since I was young and was always my favorite place to go. Their signature cream cheese rolls are absolutely amazing—soft, fresh, and perfectly balanced with a rich cream cheese flavor. They even offer a delicious ube cream cheese roll that is a must-try for anyone who loves local island flavors. Every baked item tastes like it was made with care and attention to quality. One thing to know: get there early! Pop Bake Shop is incredibly popular, and people travel from all over Guam to get their favorite treats and meals. When they’re sold out, they’re sold out. Once the day’s baked goods are gone, they close for the day, which speaks volumes about the freshness of everything they serve. Their pan de sal is some of the best around—fresh, fluffy, and perfect for breakfast or a quick snack. Beyond their bakery items, they offer a fantastic selection of Filipino favorites, including comforting arroz caldo and delicious ginataan. Their breakfast menu is equally impressive, with hearty options such as fried rice, eggs, sausage, breakfast-style burgers, and tasty ham sandwiches. To top it all off, they serve refreshing iced coffees, frappes, juices, and a variety of other beverages that pair perfectly with their baked goods and meals. The customer service is always warm and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable. For residents of the south, the location is convenient, but it’s also worth the drive no matter where you live on the island. Pop Bake Shop is more than just a bakery—it’s a community favorite that consistently delivers fresh food, outstanding service, and flavors that keep customers coming back again and again.

    I'm so glad you chose Pop's for your review, Jacx! While I've never actually been there, I've tried many of their baked goods and sweet treats. One of my co-workers from Hagat always brings sweets from the bakeshop, specifically the cream cheese rolls, and they are my absolute favorite! I had no idea they have ube rolls as well, and I love anything ube/taro, so I think I'm definitely going to make a trip down that way this summer to grab some. My girl also likes their mini pig-in-a-blankets, so it can be a treat for the both of us! Knowing the two of us, we're going to get a lot more than those two items. Hopefully we make it there early enough before everything is gone :)

      Yes! The cream cheese rolls are the best. My kids love the mini pigs in a blanket too. They also have hot link pigs in a blanket that is one of their favorites. You definitely need to go and make a trip down there. :)
